Hi, this is officially my first real post and I'm happy to say that it is all about Keg Cup 2009. This is a great event sponsored by Molson held at Blue Mountain. I went with coworkers from the Kingston Keg and ultimately had a blast! Picture hundreds of 'Keggers' (people who work at the Keg) from all over the east coast (yes one team drove from MONCTON!) bonding over snow, steaks and air band performances you can begin to understand the ridiculousness of these past few days. The weather conditions were sunny and crisp, a snowboarders dream. The mountain (in my mind it was more of a hill) was cute and small but perfect for a few leisure days of snowboarding. The great part about boarding on a Tuesday, Wednesday is that no one is there! Everyone waits for the weekend, but we managed to scam the system and almost had the mountain (really it IS just a hill) all to ourselves.
